TRAINING PROFESSIONAL COURSE ‘PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENTS’

Introduction: According to article 11, point 1, letter b) of law no. 10237/2010 as well as according to article 7, point 3 of VKM no. 563/2013 the employer organizes appropriate training and if necessary, specific practical demonstrations for the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). The course will be developed with a theoretical and a practical part to provide adequate training as required by current legislation, taking into account all the risk factors present and the respective protection provided by the PPE provided to employees.

To whom it is addressed: The course is addressed to all companies that have employees and personnel of the prevention and protection service in whose activities the use of individual protective equipment is mandatory. The course is also valid for Occupational Safety and Health Officers and Site Safety Coordinators.

Objective: To provide trainees with formative knowledge and to train them on all aspects related to individual protective equipment.

Course Duration: 4 – 8 hours

Contents: Theoretical part – Legal framework on safety and health at work, classification, CE marking, selection, use and correct conservation of PPE and, among others, equipment for respiratory protection, etc .. Practical part – Instructions on dressing, filter replacement, revision and maintenance of PPE, etc. The course is based on the best experiences of companies in the European Union in this field.

Course development methodology: Lecture in the classroom, using multimedia tools and practical tests. The course will be conducted with interactive methodologies, to involve the trainees, to encourage their interest, to encourage discussion with practical cases from their experience.

Certificate: After successfully passing the written test, trainees will have a Certificate, according to the license issued by the QKL and approved by the relevant ministry (QKL License No. LN-8413-08-2014).
